Manor Place, London, SE17

Manor Place was built in March 1898, it is a Grade II listed building that spans over 25,000 sq ft.

Located in Elephant & Castle and owned by Notting Hill Genesis, Art Guard took possession in 2020, the building was empty, inhabitable with a high risk of squatters.

We invested in security and creating affordable living spaces for a number of guardians and provided affordable work space for local businesses, in the warehouse building at the rear of the property we curated a number of free events including large scale group art exhibitions, talks and workshops.

Art Guards role:

Rates Mitigation, comprehensive security, created new living facilities for guardians, cultural events programming, repairs and maintenance.

Saving achieved for Land Owner:

£306k in business rates and £87k static security guard costs per annum.
